Keeping It Even

Dear podcasters, please find a way to keep your sound output at a consistent level. It is really annoying to have to constantly change the volume whenever the podcast's sound goes up or down. Try reading a MS Reader book on an IPAQ 6315. Use the navigation button to move through pages, and see how often the button doesn't respond. Reading an MS Reader book on an H6315 is basically a two handed operation.

Christmas

Up until now, I have been avoiding Christmas. I find it really annoying that all the stores start jamming Christmas down our throats before Halloween. This year a couple of local radio stations started broadcasting Christmas music 24x7 before Halloween. Well, today I went to a new Best Buy store that opened this week and they have a sale on CDs. I picked up a Christmas CD by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I also picked up a couple of Elton John CDs.

Age

I am at Fridays and I just got carded. I don't think I've been carded in 15 years!

Updated Driver

Today I happened to check Think Outside's web site and noticed they had a 4.0 version of their Bluetooth keyboard driver. I downloaded and installed it on my iPAQ H6315 with hopes that some of the bugs that affected the keyboard from working with my 6315 were fixed. So far I am happy to report that appears the bugs are fixed. I can now power off my IPAQ and turn it back on and the keyboard re-establishes a connection.

No Joy

There will be no joy in Houghton. The previously unbeaton Michigan Tech Huskies fell to Grand Valley State 24-7.

Big House Wi-Fi

So you think your home network is cool. What about Wi-Fi at the Big House? I am at Michigan Stadium, waiting to watch Michigan Tech play Grand Valley State. I turned the Wi-Fi Radio on and found an access point. It might be that is in the press box that I am sitting next to, the stadium may be covered.

Please Say It Ain't So

So I am standing here in line at Starbucks waiting to order my morning carmel macchiato, and my little eye spies the Christmas cups they are now using.

Windows Mobile Treo?

Rumors have risen again of PalmOne developing a Treo that will run Windows Mobile. If that happens, I wonder it will have the Pocket PC Phone Edition of the software or Smartphone version?
