Bad news about the H6315... it doesn't have Windows Mobile 2003 SE so it doesn't have the improvements with Internet Explorer.
Good news about the H6315... it has the old version of transcriber that still has the correction window and the undo button.
One problem that I am having with the H6315 is the navigation button and in particular pressing the navigation button down. When I press it down it does not respond. That is a problem because one frequently presses down when reading web pages or ebooks.
This week I bought the IPAQ 6315, which is HP's new Pocket PC phone edition. This is my first post using this Pocket PC and I am enjoying all of it's wireless features.
I wish Inbox/Messaging had a Mark All Read option.
Can I say how disappointed I am with Transcriber in SE? Microsoft made it even harder to make corrections by removing the corrections pane. Now there is no way to correct one letter in a word, instead you have to completely rewrite a word. I also don't like it that they took the undo button off the toolbar. Now I have to remember the undo gesture.
I am sitting here watching the Cubs/Giants game to see if Gregg Maddux will get his 300th win wearing my sunglasses. This afternoon I got my eye exam and right now they are making my new lenses. Plus I am getting a pair of cool new sunglasses.
The Cubs are up by two runs in the bottom of the 8th. Farnsworth is pitching with one out and two on.
The one column view in Internet Explorer on Windows Mobile 2003 SE is really nice.
Here we are, on the road again. This time we headed up to Norway, Michigan to attend my high school reunion. This time we decided to take the ferry across Lake Michigan. As I write this I am sitting on the deck of the S.S. Badger, two hours in to a four our trip that left Ludington, Michigan at 8 A.M. and should arrive at Manitowoc, Wisconsin at noon.
What this boat needs is Internet access. To pass the time I am reading the 9/11 Commission report using Adobe Reader on my Pocket PC.
